Sending Comms
r4ptor sends personalised email and SMS to individual students or groups, using templates with dynamic tokens.
Sending to one student
Open a student profile → Send Comms → select a template → tap Send.
Tokens
Templates use {{TOKEN}} placeholders replaced with real data at send time. There are three tiers — visible in Comms → Variables.
Reserved — Student tokens
Always available in every template. Populated from the student record. Cannot be overridden.

Custom variables
Create your own tokens in Comms → Variables for anything that changes over time — grading dates, payment links, venue names, etc.

Custom variables are updated manually. Edit them in Comms → Variables before each grading cycle or event.
Comms history
The last 20 sends are visible on each student's profile, showing channel, status (Sent / Failed), and timestamp.
